Car description

Offered for sale is my 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner, post car. Because of unforeseen circumstances with a business that we purchased and lost, unfortunately, the Roadrunner has to go. Never do business with friends.....I purchased the car in 2015, from a guy who found it in Montana. It had sat since 1978 in a field.Glass was all broken, both rear fenders were crunched and some rust in the floor pans. All of which were replaced.I have photos of the body on a rotisserie. All numbers matching complete 383 and 727! Original Carter, distributer and all hardware.I added the Magnums and redlines, new fuel tank and lines, brake lines, a lot of wiring except for dash wiring and I restored the dash. Just needs dash pad. Steering column is still apart. Rear glass is in, with the trim polished like new. Car comes with many repro parts ie, carpet, interior trim etc.. Will need a front bench seat. I have the bottom of a back seat. Have carpet, Comes with many misc parts. This is a manual brake, non power steering car. Real Turbine Bronze color.
DRIVETRAIN - Matching numbers 383 Magnum and completely original, down to the distributer coil etc.. 727 {column shift} is also numbers matching. It does have a small piece broken at the bottom, which can be put back. 3.23 gears. All brakes, hardware and lines are new. Suspension is rebuilt. Not sure if the manual steering box is.
BODY - 2 door post. Original Turbine Bronze. Both fender tag and vin are in place. {VIN is attached with correct rivets.} Both rear fenders were replaced, as well as the floors. Paint is beautiful. Not a concours job, but still a beautiful car. Especially in the sunlight. The only thing thats off, is that the seams where the rear fenders meet the deck, were filled. So its 2 smooth surfaces instead of seams. Tail light lenses and housings are brand new. I alsopurchased side marker lamps. Will need bumpers. Rear window is in, but the car needs most of the glass. I have 1 side window.
Please message me if you have any questions. I have more in the car than whatI'm starting the bidding at . Obviously, you are responsible for shipping. Car is a roller, with drivetrain out. Brakes are not bled. Short block, heads, exhaust manifolds, intake etc are loose, but all there. Crank and pistons are not out. All little stuff is bagged and marked. Original radiator was redone and original fan shroud is there. heater core was pressure tested and fine.Don't want to sell, but I have to. Build the motor, finish interior, add bumpers and you'rereally to roll.Have title in hand.
