Hello Hot Rodders, Muscle Car enthusiasts, and nostalgia Drag Racing fans world wide. Up for auction is a neat little time capsule from an era gone by. This is a vintage street/stri, ex drag car from the 1960s and 1970s. Its a 1964 Plymouth Valiant 2 door hardtop sedan. It was originally sponsored by Santa Ana Speed Center of Santa Ana, California. This is an 11 second quarter mile car. It has a built 340 Mopar V8, and has a roller cam, ported big valve heads,balanced, Edlebrock intake, Holley carb, Hooker fender well headers, Mallory distributor, and a brand new aluminum radiator. An Art Carr transmission is linked to the old "Typewriter" shifter on the dash. An 8 3/4 rear is hooked up to a 4.30 gears and positraction.
The patina'd paint helps show that the car was originally built back in the good ol days. Its vintage decals also show that this car has done its fair share of racing duty.An old aluminum hood scoop is all business, along with its vintage tow bars mounted to the front frame rails. This car must be sold, and will consider letting it go super cheap. In fact, we will sell this car for what we invested in the engine!
