1963 Plymouth Sport Fury

1963 Plymouth Sport Fury 2 dr. htp. This is an excellent car to complete the restoration. The interior panels. seats. console. new padded dash is complete but needs new upholstery & carpet installed. The engine is a 413 cu. in. taken from a 1964 Chrysler 300 which registered 360 h. p. with single exhaust and one 4-barrel carburator. This engine is in very good condition and will produce up to 400 to 425 h. p. with dual exhausts. dual 4-barrel carburators with the intake manifold that I have plus a higher lift cam. At the present time the engine has a 10:1 compression ratio. I have the camshaft information from COMP cams for the build-up to get this kind of h. p. with-out to much expense. The engine ran fine prior to removing the heads for inspection and cleaning. The transmission is a pushbutton Torque-Flight that is original to the 413 cu. in. engine and also worked fine prior to removal. The rear end is a Posi which was derived from a Plymouth Road Runner. The outside Body Work was completed with the highest quality materials. All moldings were removed. straightened and polished prior to being installed. The console is like new and is original along with the bucket seats and also the rears. This is a "all matching" car with the exception of the engine. transmission and rear end. The dash guages including speedometer has all been refurbished to like new condition. The radio also has been cleaned and serviced accordingly. This is a "special pet" of mine but realize that all good things must past due to age and other interests. This car was a totally "rust free" vehicle. No new metal was ever added as the floor pans and trunk pan were all in prefect conditon. No dents nor scrapes were anywhere prior to painting. therefore this car is free of bondo. I also have the rear spoiler which I had purchased for it which is black and will be included in the sale. I have everything to complete the interior including all stainless steel and pot metal molding which were also cleaned and polished to perfection. All Lenses and emblems are included. Some of these were purchased new as needed. The steering wheel has also been refurbished in white and black and it's beautiful. This is a very solid. straight and desireable 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury.
