I'm listing my personal 1973 Cuda 340 4 Speed numbers matching car. It was ordered in triple white (white exterior, white vinyl top, white interior) by a woman in Sacramento who owned it until 2 years ago. Her neighbor bugged her for 20 years to buy the car and was finally able to after her husband passed. He had the car for one year and didn't touch it. He needed money for a business venture and that's when I bought it. I've realized I'm just not a restoration guy and this is one car that deserves to be restored. It's just too unmolested. The dual exhaust is still 100% original.
The Cuda is rust free. I pulled the vinyl top off because I thought I saw what looked like bubbling starting, I was wrong. It was glue bunching up under the top. The top is rust free and still in it's original primer. I was amazed. New white vinyl top is included and trim is mint. All engine, transmission and body numbers match. I have a mint build sheet that was under the back seat. I have a 1 1/2" thick folder of receipts dating back to 1973.
There are a bunch of NOS and new parts that come with the car if it makes the reserve. I will list the main parts here;
NOS lower grill,New Year One Dash,New Pistol Grip Shift Handle (complete) not sure if NOS or not,New Wheel Well Moldings,NOS Side Marker Lenses(Red pair rear, Yellow pair front),New Black Carpet Kit,New White Vinyl Top,New Black Headliner,New Black Legendary Interior(Front and Rear Seat Covers),New Black Package Tray,NOS Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses,NOS Heater Hoses,NOS Corner Trunk Moldings(mount on the quarter panels to complete truck molding),NOS Battery Tray(complete with "J" hooks and lower corner brace),NOS "CUDA340" moldings for the hood,New Chrome Trim Ring for 4 Speed Shifter Boot,New "CUDA" emblem for rear tail panel,New Rubber Bumper Kit for hood, doors, trunk etc.,NOS Hard Fuel Line Kit for under hood lines,Soft Seal Hood to Cowl Seal,NOS Throttle Linkage,NOS Vent Wing Seals,NOS Intake to Water Pump Hose,New KYB Shocks Front and Rear,And Some More Parts I'm Sure I'm Forgetting...
Some of the cars highlights...RARE Triple White340 4 Speed Numbers MatchingFront and Rear Factory Sway BarsDual Exhaust 100% Original(Even Mufflers and Resonators)Power SteeringOriginal Rally DashFender Mounted Turn IndicatorsOriginal Paint Includes Bottom of Deck Lid, Trunk, Door Jams and Inside of Doors, Interior Floor, Engine Compartment and Under Hood. Look like one repaint. Black stripe was added in the 70's I believe.
Wheels are 17x8 US Mags with 255/50-17's on the rear and 255/45-17's on the front. They will also be included if the car makes it's reserve.
The Cuda runs and drives great. I just drove it to a car show that was 100 miles round trip. I often take it on 25-50 mile cruises around my house. The tach and clock aren't working. The fuel gauge wants to work, but I think it may need a sending unit. I just reset the odometer to keep track of fuel. The oil pressure sending unit was leaking so I removed it and plugged the block, but the gauge was working. Amp, Temp, Volt and Speedo work great. 3.23 open 8 3/4 rear factory. Disk breaks up front. I have tons of pictures (inner and outer quarters etc.) so ask for anything you want to see or any questions you need answered.
Car will be for sale locally so I will reserve the right to end auction early if a local sale is made. I can help with shipping and car can stay in my garage until picked up as long as a reasonable time is agreed on and it's paid for in full.
