Up for sale is my 1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe. I purchased this car 35 miles from it's original selling dealer. The car is in great shape. trunk floor. deck lid. and bottom of doors have no rust thru places. the spare tire bottom and drivers floor was patched before I bought it. They done a okay job at sealing up the bad places as they are small areas anyway. but car is very solid with no rattles or vibrations. Car runs very good and rides very well. I had new exhaust installed front to back. and had a extra leaf added in the rear of the car to stop the original rollover feel. All gauges. lights. and speedometer works like new. The miles in the picture are the original miles on this car. The only real complaint I have with the car is the vacuum wipers. they leave a lot to be desired but is factory. Two heaters was purchased along with inside hood release and works perfect. Pictures show factory rims. red and black. and then with the current wheels that are on it. you choose the rims. I have the very fragile. but awesome bill of sale that was with the car when it was purchased the very first time on Jan 1st 1948. it is written in pencil. along with all the added extra and insurance information written on the back of the bill of sale. The small piece of chrome that is missing between the drivers door and hood. is in the glove box. So this a 100% complete car. No missing parts. Radio comes on and hums but does not play any music. This car has a 3 speed manual transmission on the column. but DOES have overdrive. How it works. you shift all 3 gears as you normally would and once in 3rd gear and rpms are built up let up off the accelerator and you will feel it shift flawlessly every time. I have some extra parts that will go with the car for what I have in them. These parts include. fender chrome. key surround that has less pits in the chrome. new windshield gasket. replacement horn ring. windshield chrome. hood ornament less glass piece. and the original hubcaps. I have a 231. V6 from a 1983 Oldsmobile motor and transmission that are married and was going to put it in the car but I don't have the heart to tear such a great car apart. Make offer on all or any!
