1964 Plymouth Sport Fury

This is a 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury with a clean Ca. title. It has a 1968 440 HP motor with 516 heads, Purple Shaft Cam,Torker intake Holley 750 carb, headers, Aluminum radiator with dual fans, Accel dual point, Electric water pump, but it needs to be replaced from sitting. The trans is a 727 with shift kit and stall convertor. I bought this car it was being used as street and track Drag Racer and they broke something in the rear end.? I'm not sure if it broke a tooth or an axle. it rolls but every once in awhile it binds. The guy parked it for a couple years after that. He didn't tear it apart and neither have I. When he sold it to me he kept the brand new 850 Holley, Distributor and front wheels.The carb and distributor that's on it needs some adjustment. It has a Carter electric Super Pump, Traction bars and Dot Slicks so it can be driven on the street. The rear fender wells have been massaged a little to accommodate the tires. It has a little rust as seen in the pics, in the cowl, front floor board one spot by the back window and both lower quarters have just a small amount. The trunk floor is solid as is the rest of this Ca. car. If you just want the car as a roller I can pull the motor and trans. and will let it go for $2,850 These cars are what put Chrysler on the map in Drag racing no other manufacture could touch these cars.I really hate to see this one go, but you know the story to many 64 and 65 projects and a few need to go.
