Car description

This car has spent a really, really long time being worked on in a shop, and then the shop closed. Meanwhile, many parts were lost. The good part is, many of the major components were re-buit very well and are still sound. The following components were re-built:
1) Engine
2) Transmission
3) Carburetors
4) Fuel tank/fuel system
5) Entire brake system
6) Exhaust System
I have many detailed receipts which will, of course be included with the vehicle.
Vehicle comes with clear title, original fender tag, and a broadcast sheet that I found under the seat that actually belongs to a different car.
This car also has new tires, and a newer paint job which, though it needs some spot repairs due to scratches and some rust bubbling, esp. on the right rear 1/4 panel, is salvageable and shows no signs of cracking at all. All of the previous paint was blasted and sanded away at great expense. The car is missing its trunk cover, all lights, bumpers, grill, carpet, seats, interior door panels, trim pieces and instrument cluster. The original suspension components are still in the car, and surprisingly, still function OK, but should eventually be replaced if vehicle is to be operated at freeway speeds.
The car shows no evidence of ever being in any kind of a serious accident whatsoever.
The engine can be started, and runs absolutely flawlessly, however, it can not be safely operated or test driven for obvious reasons, so please don't ask.
Please email me with any questions as I am on the road and don't answer the phone for safety reasons.
They will usually be answered the same day or night. Additional photos can be provided but may take a day or more, so please be patient.
Payment will only be accepted by certified funds (bank check, bank m/o USPS m/o's) or US currency paid on he spot. Buyer can make a $1,000 non-refundable deposit via certified funds, and I can wait a reasonable time-frame for remaining funds and transportation arrangements.
