Car description

Up for auction is probably the straightest rust free original paint 1972 Plymouth Scamp I have ever had the pleasure to own. and I have had a bunch of them. This is a factory V8 318 A/C car with low miles. it was born and raised in the great state of Nevada where the climate is perfect for old cars of course with the exception of the high heat which will bake the interior of any car. all you have to do is look at the dash in this one. Now some of the things you should be aware of. the original engine was gone and replaced with a later model 360 V8 and the bigger 727 Torque flight automatic transmission. this was done before I purchased the vehicle. What the auction will include- I have amassed a number of quality OEM parts to go on the Scamp. I would normally not veer from the factory specs of an original Mopar however I had collected so many parts to make this a complete beast on the road I figured I would include them in the auction. First. the rear end is that I am including is the 10 bolt 8 1/4 355 posi out of a 1976 Dodge Aspen with new drums and brake kit. nbsp; 2nd I am including a complete front end out of a 1974 Dodge Dart Sport that is complete with disc brakes large bolt pattern and factory sway bar lower control arms which are near impossible to find and if you find them they are about $500. 00 for the pair. 3rd- a new old stock Mopar Performance front sway bar designed specifically for A body's this is not the cheap little 7/8 sway bar from PST this is the beast of sway bars. 4th- a mint front grill from a 1972 Plymouth Duster including extra headlight trim pieces. 5th new rear KYB rear shocks. The interior of the car is to be expected for the climate- the door panels are perfect. carpet is not torn but is dirty. front bench seat is worn. rear seat is perfect. dash pad is baked. dash gauges and bezels are perfect. dash panel has never been cut and still has the original am radio. Since I have the pieces to complete a large wheel pattern swap I will also be including a complete set with very good tires factory 15 x 7 steel wheels not the cop wheels but the original solid steel wheels that you would use the dog dish hub caps on. All of the stainless trim is in excellent condition. rear bumper looks great front bumper needs replaced. If I do not get the reserve I am looking for I will go ahead and keep the Scamp. nbsp; the only reason I am selling it is for the land yacht that you see in the garage. this has been a complete money pit and a 12 year project but in the long run it is worth it. Anyway if you have any questions please ask before you bid I will respond immediately. Now for the legal crap. THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS IS WERE IS WITH NO IMPLIED WARRANTY. SHIPPING IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER. nbsp; I WOULD PREFER TO SELL THIS LOCALLY DUE TO ALL OF THE PARTS THAT GO WITH IT HOWEVER AS LONG AS THE BUYER IS AWARE OF THIS LITTLE TIDBIT GO FOR IT. PAYMENT- A NON REFUNDABLE 20% DEPOSIT IN THE FORM OF PAYPAL. CASH. WIRE TRANSFER. IS DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE. THE BALANCE OF THE MONIES ARE DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE IN THE FORM OF CASH OR WIRE TRANSFER. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PAY THE BALANCE WITH PAYPAL YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FEES INCURED FROM PAYPAL. I almost forgot to mention. this was a vinyl top car that being said all of the seam putty has been removed. all of the roof seams Tig Welded and seams refilled with metal to metal filler. all of the vinyl top trim has been removed and the holes have been tig welded. the roof is flawless not one pit not one spot of rust. ready for repaint. Again please ask all questions and good luck.
