Unrestored and Original 1970 Plymouth Duster 340,33,505 original miles. This is an excellent example of an original unrestored car. It retains almost all of its original paint and has been meticulously cared for. This car has been in Mopar collector hands for years and for good reason, they are only original once. It has its original numbers matching engine and transmission. Included with the car are three broadcast sheets and numerous other documents and titles that verify the mileage is true and correct. The fender tag is original and still in place from the factory. The car retains its factory inspection stampings on the differential and rear end housing. The interior is perfect and untouched. It has the original spare tire that came with the car and I do not beleive it has been mounted. Routine maintenance work has been done on this car and it runs very strong. There has been some touch up paint on the valve covers and motor by a previous owner. The exhaust has been replaced with the most factory correct system made by Accurate Exhaust. This is a non undercoat car that still retains factory paint underneath. The body on the car looks fantasic and it is in superb shape. The only part of the car that has been repainted is the hood, all other paint appears original. The vinyl top is original and in perfect shape. All chrome and trim is excellent. It has the original dealer sticker from when it was sold new at Town and Country Chrysler Plymouth, Rochester, New York. I also have a reproduction Mopar certified window sticker specific to the car and build sheet options.
This is an investment grade vehicle that should go into collector hands. This is not a perfectly restored car, it is unrestored and is over 40 years old. It is unbelievable that the car looks as good as it does, like a time capsule.
If you like original, survivor-type vehicles, you should consider looking at this fine example; they do not become available very often. Please contact me with any questions you may have. I believe that the price I have listed is fair and reasonable considering the quality of this car, the correctness of it and the proper documentation verifying it. I bought this car last year with no intention to sell, but have another opportunity I would like to pursue. Any questions feel free to please call but at a reasonable hour, 860-883-9017.
This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Deposit of $500 due within 24 hours. Good luck bidding.
