If you think that you are ready to make the move up to a Nostalgia Super Stock Hemi race car, then this is it.This is not a factory HEMI car ! If it was, you would be paying well over $100,000.00.This car started life as a 273 cu. in. mom and dad car and was turned into a racer back in the early 80's with a 440. I bought it in 1994 and raced it with a 440 till I put a stock bore 426 Hemi in it in 2001. Had a lot of fun with the car doing perfect wheelstands and running 9.80's @137 mph. That engine was built at Speciality Motorwerks/ Tony Depello. Tony also built us the new motor that is in the car now and it is a Siamese block made by Mopar and has 528 cu. in. This motor was never a crate motor. This motor should run a lot faster than the old motor. Motor has zero runs on it. The transmission is a Ray Christian unit freshened up by Ed Howard who actually worked for Ray for 15 years. Trans has about 10 runs on it and works great. It has a John Holt Race Cars light weight k-member and Depello installed all new frontend parts and he also installed a new Painless wiring system. The car has Super Stock springs and hooks really good on the 11.5x31 M/T slicks. Car has been run on 14x32 slicks also, and yes it is tubbed. It also has vintage Cragar Super Trick wheels on all 4 corners. Roll cage was installed by Martin Motorsports and has been certified to 8.50 and is current. Complete front end is a fiberglass one by Sled City Fiberglass. Paint is a one stage paint applied by "TURK" for the correct period look. Lettering is allstickers and can be removed. Car has new carpet, dash pad, and door panels Check out the pictures and if you have any questions, please call and talk to Larry @ 1-614-875-0369
