Car description

The Outlaw is a 1941 Plymouth Coupe up for Auction with NO RESERVE. The car was graciously given the name “The Outlaw” by Henry Paul of The Outlaws Southern Rock Band while he autographed the car before an Outlaws concert in Kempton, Pennsylvania on November 18, 2013. Henry Paul drove the car and the entire band cordially signed the car with their autographs before going on stage to perform their evening’s concert in Kempton.

The all steel 1941 Plymouth body of this vehicle is in primer and it shows its age with some small dents but it is very solid and mostly rust free. The body has been channeled slightlywith all new custom floor boardsand fabricated body mounts were made to fit the body neatly on a 1979 Chevy Malibu G-Body Chassis. The majority of the critical and hard work has been skillfully and meticulously completed on this one of a kind fully custom vehicle. Everything is solidly well put together. There is no coolant or oil leaks whatsoever. The original 41 Plymouth Body is completely transformed and modernized on the G-Body Frame, Chassis and complete Drivetrain with a Chevy Small Block Engine, 350 Turbo Automatic Transmission and a 10 Bolt, 8-1/2 inch rear. The Engine has less than an estimated 5,500 miles on a rebuild with new rings, cam, crank and rod bearings, timing chain and gears. The engine does not use any oil between oil changes. It runs flawlessly with performance upgrades including headers, new dual exhaust and a mild performance cam. Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold with an Edelbrock 650 CFM electric choke four (4) barrel carburetor. Rebuilt automatic transmission with less the 2,000 miles. The car also has power steering, and power front disc brakes with drums on the rear, 12 volt electric system with a new painless wiring harness and new radiator. The car handles, rides and drives amazingly with plenty of power to spare. I could go on and on about how nice the car rides and drives but you’d need to get behind the wheel to experience the pleasure of motoring in this vehicle to be assured for yourself. The horn along with all the lights work, including dash lights, headlights, high and low beams, brake lights and turn signals. Grant wood trim Steering Wheel and complete original dash with working oil pressure and amp gauge. The coolant temperature and fuel gauges are mounted remotely on the dash. Organized and put together it all makes for a very affordable, dependable and reliable, easy on gas, fun to drive car that I wouldn’t hesitate to use daily or drive anywhere. The car is titled in Pennsylvania as an Antique and it’s registered with an original 1941 Pennsylvania License Plate. If the car is sold to a purchaser in Pennsylvania the 1941 License Plate is transferable with the car to the new owner. This is a turnkey - 100% completely roadworthy, drivable car and a work in progress.A solid foundation is set to create and build upon further, drive it the way it is or do something completely different to your own liking or style. Included with the sale is a cover and parts I have collecting. The parts included are all interior garnish moldings plus an exterior sun visor I never put on the car and a custom aftermarket aluminum grill. Since I've owned the car for the past 4 years it has never been driven in inclement weather, rain, snow or ice. The previous owner had done the same. I only drove the car for my own pleasure just the way it is locally on nice days in the spring, summer and fall. I'd estimate I put less then 500 miles a year on the car at most. It has always been in dry storage under cover when not driven. I've enjoyed every decadent moment I've owned and driven the car plain and simple. I hate to have to sell it. This past season (2016) I probably on put 100 miles on it. I fully planned on investing in on completing the car in my retirement but I have been recently dealing with health issues that does not allow me to do what I used to be able to do. I do not see in the near future that I will be able to give the car the well deserves full attention it needs so it is time to part ways for some else to add their on refinements to make the car their own. Starting bid $7,500.00 with no reserve..
