Car description

For sale,
I have an absolutely amazing car that you can drive anywhere! This is a bench seat, auto on the column REAL FJ6 Limelight car with no vinyl top and matching #s.
This is a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda with lots of options including:
-Power disc brakes
-Power steering
-Air Conditioning
-Bench leather seat
-Fender blinkers
-15 inch Rallye wheels
-Solid California body
The things that mean a lot to me about this car are some of the smaller details. The doors on this car are perfectly lined up and shut smooth, quiet and have NO sag what so ever. The car has amazing and easy braking power with the power disc brakes and I can honestly tell you it drives like a dream on the highway. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute driving this car anywhere despite how it looks.
FRAME and FLOOR on this car is immaculate and solid. The frame is California clean and so are the floors. Trunk floor is sketchy at best but solid none the less, scabby and crusty but still solid. Has a CD changer mounted in the trunk, I've never tried it.
The car was a daily driver and still is. You can seriously take this car to work every day and its economical too. The Super Six under the hood is no slouch and it does get 16-22 MPG if you don't believe me as anyone who's had one and this one runs PERFECT, its quiet, smooth and efficient. Has great power and is known as one of the most reliable engines ever put out for this vintage auto.
Interior wise the dash is trash but the headliner is still like NEW, the seats are still firm and in great serviceable condition. There is one rip but its minor, I personally love the bench seats.
Front fenders are solid, passenger side fender has some work towards the bottom, I suspect a ding that was fixed. Doors are perfect, no rust, no issues and in great condition. All the windows work and are quiet and smooth besides the passenger rear right small one which is hard to get up and down for some reason. Carpet is beautiful condition, here's one thing that will shock you not only do ALL the gauges work but the fuel gauge is accurate and so is the speedo! The lights work on the cluster for night and even the CD player works perfect! The electric antenna has recently had some small issues but it still tunes in perfectly.
Rear quarters have been fixed and have mud in at least one spot but looking from inside the trunk they look stunning and original, the outside also looks great, straight and solid but once again there is some fixes previously done to it. There was a factory bumper, rubber pin stripe thing that I took off and so it has holes down the side.
The rims are real AAR 15 inch rims and they are wrapped with nice tread tires, the rears seem slightly wider than the front tires, they handle well and are quiet on the road.
The exhaust is almost silent and its intact, no holes or issues, no smells or odors of exhaust.
Under the engine and transmission there is some seepage seen but you will never find any leaks on the ground and I have not had any oil odors of any kind thus far and I have driven in at least 1000+ miles just in recent months.
A/C is a period correct but after market unit, this car came equipped with factory disc brakes, power steering but NOT AC so there is a WORKing ICE cold after market 70s style AC vent system and pump in the interior and it works awesome.
There's no rust around the windows or pillars, its SUPER solid everywhere you can think of that normally would have rust. There is rust behind one of the doors on the rocker, its not a hard fix, there's some bubbling on the rear quarters but nothing through and a little in the middle of one of the quarters where you can see they did some bondoage. Once again beneath the car where it really counts its in amazing shape.
Everything on this car works great, all the lights and gauges, its SUPER smooth at all speeds, AC and heat work, Windshield wipers work great even! Needs a restore obviously but its as good as one would find one of these. I actually have fallen in love with the Super 6 motor, it has power, reliability, it doesn't leak like every Mopar V8 I've had and it gets great fuel economy so it makes for a great cruiser car!
The car is out of California, its in Minnesota now just this spring it came up. If you are interested in flying up and driving it back I encourage it, it would make it I'd say but of course I can't give you any warranty!
The car has matching #s engine and transmission
