Car description

RELISTED WITH A BUY IT NOW!!! ILL CONSIDER A REASONABLE OFFER LETS SEE ONE!!
1973 Plymouth Fury Gran Sedan Brougham. Only 1-owner ever! The car was ordered with quite a few nice options. Miles show 34,746. Because of the age of car I'm selling it as exempt miles.Cosmetically:
The car is very nice, there was a complete paint job done long ago and was done very, very well! All the trim was pulled the job was done right. The vinyl top and all stainless and chrome is excellent. The interior is very nice with these exceptions: The fabric insert on the front and rear seat are tearing as seen in the pics due to age. The carpet has some stains, the headliner is perfect. The dash has 4-5 cracks as shown. The rare Rim Blow steering wheel has some cracks. The underside of the car is very nice and solid. the trunk is solid and no holes or weak spots seen. There are two small rust "bubbles" starting just above the fender skirts.
Mechanically: The car runs and drives very well. The car starts easily with no strange noises. There is a small amount of smoke when first started quite possible valve guide seals. Mechanically speaking, the car is in good overall condition. The transmission also goes right into gear and shifts as it should. The AC was converted to the new 134a refrigerant with a new compressor. The air blows cool but not cold. The cruise control, AM radio and guages function as they should.
Options and Other Details:
The car has some unique options that were ordered by the original deceased owners. Such as tilt steering wheel with the Rim Blow horn. Power steering and brakes. Dual split seats with passenger recliner. Brougham Package. Cruise control, rear seat speaker. The owner also added the following features. A 1970's style CB radio! A Motorola PA system, AND last but not least...an electric horn that plays 12 programmed songs! The tires are good quality and almost new. For us Mopar guys in the know, the color is B5 Blue. Most original paperwork AND a TWO page factory window sticker!
Summing it Up:
The car is not perfect. Ive done my best to give my take on the overall condition of the car. It shows some of it's 43 years of minor wear but all in all it is a great and beautiful car. It truly turns heads and gets lots of positive comments where ever it goes. The car has that "wow" factor! The Fury is being sold in as-is condition. If you want to inspect the car yourself come see for yourself. It's in safe storage and can remain until the new owner picks it up. Any questions call me anytime.
