This is a 1974 Plymouth Scamp. This is a CALIFORNIA car from the beginning. It doesn't have the rust issues that so many of these cars have after over 40 years exposed to the weather in the north and east. It was a 318 V8 with the 904 transmission and 7 1/4 rear. As you can see in the first few pictures, hen I purchased the car 4 years ago it was a great running and good looking vehicle. The interior is great and the body was straight. It was a complete car. I then stripped out the whole car in preparation to paint and redo the whole thing....360 V8, ew black interior, wap to a ford limited slip differential etc.......well.....I have lost interest so I am offering this for sale. If you look at the pictures you can see the car is completely stripped and much prep work has been done. Engine compartment has been cleaned and primed...the whole body has been sanded and all the knicks and scratches have been fixed and primed. Basically it is ready for a paint job....expensive or basic. So, his car is complete and everything worked when I brought it home, ipers, adio, ights horn etc. I have all the parts bagged and tagged for reassembly. The only thing missing is the front windshield, broke it just last week, nd the original engine which I sold off. I do have a 360 block that is standard bore and crank that will go with the car. There were 2 rust issues. The spare tire well had been taking on water for a while and was rusted through. I cut out the bottom and welded in a new piece from a donor car. When I removed the rear windshield I found the reason for the leak...some holes in the frame of the rear window. Those have been repaired. The right rear quarter on the very bottom was bubbling up with interior rust. This was also repaired. That's it....rust free. The entire front end has been rebuilt...NEW bushings, ittman arm, otors, alipers etc. Totally NEW. When i took out the transmission, he converter was marked 2001. I think the transmission was probably rebuilt then. It shifted great before I dismantled the car. NEXT...I have a ton of parts that I have bought for the car. If you buy the car you will have first crack at all the parts. To many to list here, ut almost everything except the engine rebuild parts. I have new weatherstrip, aint gasket set, ats whiskers, rim pieces and more. I also have an Explorer 373 limited slip rear with the extra short side axle to go in it. OK....here it is....$2000.00 gets you the car and block. We will talk about all the extras if you have an interest. Don't spend less money on a rusted money pit. Even if you have to pay for trucking to your home, he money and time spent on a rusted car will be more.
