Hello,here'sa real......340-4-Speed Duster!
1973 "Petty-Blue" 340-4-Speed "Space-Duster"
with a Bench Seat, ender Tag and Build Sheet
One of the last true muscle cars of the 70's
? Here's a question for Duster experts. Please see the picture of the front view of the engine and tell me if the stripe on the cowl was an original stripe. If so, hat is the code on the build sheet? Thanks for your help. Car comes with new owner's manual. - LOW MILES: 58,405 Non-running rolling chassis restoration project - ENGINE: Yes! It is the original numbers matching High Performance 340, -8, -barrel engine with forged crank (In 1973 only 4-speed cars got forged crank engines). - Radiator: larger radiator for high performance engine, reshly re-cored, pent about $500. Core support is bent, ut I will include a used replacement core support with inner fender wells. - TRANSMISSION: 4-speed manual, -833. (Not shown in pictures, ut will be included with the car. See cross-member in pictures) - REAREND: 81/4-inch ring gear with a 2.45:1 gear ratio for a really high top speed. An 8.75 rearend is available for extra cost. - FRONT DISK BRAKES: hubs have large 4.5-inch bolt pattern - REAR BRAKES: Large Drums: 11x2.5 inch - POWER STEERING: "Easy Steer" - RALLYE WHEELS: 14x5.5 inch with large 4.5-inch bolt pattern (There are many after-market wheels made to fit this bolt pattern if you prefer to upgrade the wheels) - SPACE-DUSTER: This unique option gavethe cara fold down rear seat, oit hasmore capacity to haul longer and larger items. - ONE OF A KIND: This could bea one-of-a-kindcar with its rare combination of options! Sorry I didn't have time to have Galen Govier check his records to see if this could be the only one in existance. - Body Condition: I wish I could say it was rust-free, ut then it would cost a lot more too. I have always taken pride in describing the condition of cars accurately and honestly. This car has rust from sitting since the 80's and I am not going to tell you what needs replaced or how to repair it, ecause that is up to you and some people enjoy repairing a part while others insist on replacing that same part. But, will tell you that I briefly looked under the car (NOT with a fine-toothed comb) and here are my notes (facts of my observations). The trunk pan has large holes, ront floor pans have large holes, eft side rocker panel has large hole, eft rear sub-frame has holes, ront right sub-frame has holes, nd the quarter panels have large holes. The type of person that will be most happy with this car is someone who is not lazy or easily discouraged, ut one who really wants it and is determined to restore it properly. There will be challenges to finish all car projects, ut another advantage to restoring this car is that you can find everything you need new or used to complete it. More good news: we have installed a rust-free trunk lid, ood front bumper assembly and front bumper filler panel, wo solid fenders and a good hood. If you have specific concerns, lease call me and I will do my best to help. 260-489-5374 Thanks. - Missing Parts: This is a list of parts that we know are missing, ut please keep in mind that during the restoration of this car you will need to buy most of these new anyways: shifter, runk lock, oth side view mirrors, efrost vent grilles, as fill tube, ack assembly, oor panels, pare tire and front seat lap belts. Note: we are looking through our inventory of Mopar parts for these items and may find some of them before the end of the auction. This car is worthover $9000 if you were to part it out. I'm a Mopar lover though, nd I would rather somebody buy this and restore itShipping: Delivery is available, lease call for a quote (260) 489-5374 (land line)or (260)452-9272 (cell).Thank you and have a nice day.
