Out of 31,987 Barracudas built by Plymouth in 1969, nly 1442 were convertibles. Only 1273 were 318 Automatic. This means this car is 1 of 1273. This beautiful 1969 Barracuda Convertible is in really nice condition. It has the 318 engine but I don't know if it's the original matching numbers engine or not. It runs really good. I am sure it has been rebuilt at some point but don't know when. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic that shifts smooth. The Orange paint with the White stripe running down the side of the car looks really good. It has White interior that is also in good condition along with a White Convertible Top that looks like new. The top is a power top that works good and with the White boot cover over it when down makes it a real eye catcher. It has factory power steering making it easy to drive. The brakes are drum brakes but they stop good. Just put a new master cylinder on it. It is a bucket seat car with a console and floor shifts. Most that I have seen have been column shifters. The bumpers are in excellent condition as is the chrome trim around the tail lights and in the front. The bottom piece of the chrome trim around the Windshield is missing along with a small trim piece on the inside corner of the door post.( see pics ) The car is very solid. The floor pans, ockers and trunk all look good with rust not being an issue. The trunk needs a trunk lock. This car is a factory air car with everything in place and it blows but don't get cold. ( We are going to check this out ). This is a Rare car that is a good driver and is a Convertible. The miles shown is what the odometer is showing. I am not saying that the miles are correct original miles cause honestly I don't know. I have alot more pics of this car if anyone is interested in seeing just let me know. This car is also For Sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. As always Pre Sale inspections are welcomed and encouraged so you will know what you are bidding on but must be done BEFORE END OF AUCTION!! If you bid and meet reserve and are the high bidder at end of auction then you have bought it. Please understand this. This car is being sold with a current Georgia registration and Georgia is a Non Title state on cars this old. You will be able to get a title in your name with the paperwork I give you so don't worry about this. Any questions please ask. thanks for looking
