1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe "Woody"

2 Owner car (father-son). Father ordered the car be painted black by the dealership when he purchased it new. Original Palm Beige color underneath is starting to show through the black paint. The wood has been lightly sanded and re-varnished many times, ver time. Never machine sanded or chemically stripped. Varnish from driver's side of car gently removed with a heat gun to discover that the condition of the wood is extraordinary. Wood finish on passenger side is untouched. 218 6 cylinder "L" Head has been reconditioned, arburetor rebuilt, ooling and heater system repaired. Electrical system repaired. Brakes repaired, new rear leaf springs. Car has some rust in passenger rocker but was bondo'd some time in the distant past. Rear bumper supports need straightening. Chrome trim and badge in place and have pitting. The stainless trim on the car has some dents but is all there, ood condition. All door and window trim and hardware in place Tube set radio works Newer tires
