Car description |
---|
The actual VIN number of this Peugeot is: VF320CD6201543881. The vehicle has been legally imported from France.
The preferred version of the 205 GTI with the 1.9L engine. 5-speed manual transmission.
This one is in very good condition, drives perfectly, and offers impressive performances.
Video of the 205 driven around Portland, available on demand. Also, over a 100 more pictures available. Ask for link.
Factory alloy wheels in perfect condition.
Sunroof. (A little bit leaky under use of pressure washer)
Power windows operate just fine.
Very clean and complete interior. Reupholstered front seats with new foam. Slight wear on back seats. Red carpet provides a cool contrast to the cockpit.
The dash top, dash face, door panels and headliner are in very good condition.
Very nice paint overall, except small cracks around passenger door lock. It's the only flaw. Original color. I can't tell if the paint is original, or not, but it's probably too shiny to be original.
The "not so good":- Oil pan gasket needs to be replaced.- Clutch probably will need to be replaced in the near futur, but the car is perfectly drivable as-is.I can help purchasing parts for these 2 items directly from France.
A few recent invoices are provided with the car. There was at least 2 owners before me. I don't have anyinformation beyond that. The last owner is a very good friend of mine, living in Corsica (France). (Hence the Maure head, the Corsican emblem, on license plates). The timing belt has been recently replaced, but I do not have the invoice for it).
Recently imported from France, sold with a clean Oregon title under my name. Just passed DEQ. (Emission testing)
