Nice Older Restoration 1939 Packard 120 Club Coupe
Here we have for sale a nice older restoration 1939 Packard 120 club Coupe with factory overdrive. I had bought this from a gentleman who has had it for over 30+ years in his collection. It had been sitting for the last couple years in his garage before he had passed away. I bought it because it's a rare and very cool car but we are moving and don't have anywhere to store it so I haven't even been able to register it or drive it much. It's an older restoration that looks great. It's not perfect and shows some wear but overall it's a nice car. I'm guessing it was restored over 30 years ago at least. I just totally detailed the paint, polished and waxed it so it shines beautifully. There are some chips and scratches in the paint. The front headlight has some chips from the hood being opened and closed. The chrome is very nice on the car and shines very well. I do not know how the louvered grill inserts work. They may or may not work. Not sure. The interior is all redone and in in great shape and same as the headliner. The dash seems to be original because it does have some patina and wear on it. The speedometer cable just broke on me. So that isn't currently working and the clock doesn't work either. The other gauges all work. There is a Stewart Warner temp gauge installed under the dash. That is what is used instead of the original gauge. The radio isn't turning on but the speaker is still under the dash. The original heater is working and works great! The car turns heads everywhere it goes. The engine fires right up and idles smoothly. When you're driving it, you almost can't feel or hear it run it's some smooth. The horn works and carb looks to be rebuilt. It keeps a constant 180 degrees all the times I've driven it. The club Coupe Packards have a back seat so you can take more people in this car. The brakes work well. There is a crack in the driver side window but the rest of the windows are in good shape. The rubber one windows is good. The original hood ornament is in good shape! The bias ply white wall tires are in good shape and hold air fine but they do have some cracking in them. If the buy it now is hit I will put brand new bias ply white wall tires on the car for the new owner. Overall this is a nice, rare and very collectible vintage 1939 Packard Club Coupe. It's not perfect and shows some wear and age but it's something that you never see and car shows and is a guarantee to be a hit everywhere you drive it. I never got a chance to register the car but it has a clear Nevada title with it. I also have the original owners manual and sale brochure that will come with the car too. The car has a brand new battery in it. Please ask any and all questions that you may have. Shipping is the buyers responsibility but I will help coordinate shipping in anyway that I can. My phone number is 775-830-6760. Thanks for looking!
