Car description |

......Only 14,630 Documented Miles From New!!!!!!!!!!!!!....1951 Packard 200 Deluxe Club Sedan, "two door" - "Valiant Green".... with beige, and grey broadcloth interior. Car has optional Ultramatic transmission, Gas door guard, fender skirts, and Fram oil filter, and fuel filter....Car is very solid and rust free, with the exception of surfaceoxidation that is due to the original paint. The interior is dry rotted and dirty but totally complete. The car runs and drives and still has the sticker for the ignition "accessory" as this was the first year for this feature. It has the 288 cubic inch, straight eight engine, and has fully functioning, "Startex" type, accelerator starter switch...My dad purchased this car several years ago with the intention of preserving it. due to its originality and extremely low mileage, but his health declined, and was never able to finish it. The carburetor, and "Startex" were rebuilt, and new correct bias ply tires were installed. The standard radio was sent off and rebuilt, andall NOS parts he had collected will be included with the sale. All manuals, books and paperwork will be included.
The car was purchased new from St. Paul Motor Sales (local Packard dealer), in St. Paul, Virginia, by a Mrs. Blanche Davis, It has 14,630 Actual Miles from new!!!!!!!!.....basically, an average of 210 miles per year ......and supporting documents, including the title, (lien free, of course) and Virginia DMV records to prove its authenticity. Being a collector myself, like my dad, itcertainly belongs in a collection of a Packard enthausist, or a collector of low mileage, preserved, original cars. It does need cosmetic freshening and or preserving, whatever your choice...but it has a very low " buy-it-now" price, and I will gladly answer any reasonable questions or offers, It is listed locally, and I reserve all rights to end the auction or refuse any sales. My phone number is 276-794-1234 for serious buyers....Thank You.
