Car description |
---|
RARE 1958 Packard Hawk - Has been sitting waiting for restoration. There were only 588 of these produced. The car has been taken apart for the most part. The car is now sitting on an 80's El Camino frame simply to assist in moving the car around. The original frame does come with the car. The original engine does come with the car although I'm not sure of the condition as I've never had it running. I also have a supercharger with the car as these were equipped with the 289 engine and a supercharger.
Car will need a full restoration - could also be used as a parts car as it is almost 100% complete. I just acquired this vehicle so my knowledge beyond what I have researched is limited. I know they are quite hard to find as there were not that many made before Packard went belly up. This car was produced through a merger between Studebaker and Packard trying to save the Packard brand. The engine that is pictured with the car is not the original engine, but again I do have the original engine for the car.
Take a look at the pictures and let me know if you have any questions. I'll do my best to get as much info to you as possible.
Buyer will be responsible for getting this car picked up. The car is sitting on a trailer at this moment but we do have the ability through the use of a forklift to pick it up and move it to another trailer which we will be more than happy to do.
