Car description |
---|
This is a powerful senior classic Packard and because of the independent front suspension and other modern refinements such as hydraulic valve lifters, it is a joy to drive compared to older Packards while retaining the classic Packard body style. This is a good winter project car and a great investment for restoration. Reasonable reserve. On Aug-05-18 at 09:28:44 PDT, seller added the following information:
Additional information: this car briefly flooded up to the running boards about 10 years ago. I found no damage. The transmission tail shaft bearing noise did not show up until last year but could be related. I rebuilt the transmission in about the year, 2000 replacing gaskets, seals and other parts as needed. Parts were not expensive as I remember.
I have about 10 extra doors from 160 and 180 models (chrome around the windows) as well as 110 parts including an engine block/crank, grille, radiator and misc. These are included at buyers option if buyer wants them. Doors are in poor condition, but could be utilized, and lots of good parts.
