FOR THIS AUCTION, I'M SELLING THIS 1955 PACKARD FOUR HUNDRED 2DR HARDTOP. THIS IS A RARE CAR THAT IS IN GREAT DEMAND. THIS CAR IS POWERED WITH A REBUILT 350 SMALL BLOCK AND AN OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION. THE ORIGINAL ENGINE HAD SEIZED AND WAS BEYOND REPAIR. THIS CAR WAS RUNNING AND DRIVING, UNTIL LIKE MYSELF HAVING HAD A HEART ATTACK, THE CARBURETOR FAILED AND DUE TO MY HEALTH CONDITION, I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO ANY REPAIRS ON ANY OF MY CARS. I HAD STARTED REMOVING THE TRIM AND CUTTING OUT THE RUSTED AREAS TO DO A PAINT JOB, SO I DO HAVE MOST OF THE TRIM FOR THIS CAR, WHICH HAS BEEN VERY HARD TO FIND.I DID REPLACE THE FRONT CLIP OF THE CAR WITH A DONOR CAR, THUS THE EXTRA TRIM PARTS AS SEEN IN ONE OF THE PICTURES. THE INTERIOR TRIM IS IN GOOD SHAPE, BUT AT THIS TIME, I'M STILL LOOKING FOR THE TWO FRONT DOOR PANELS AND TRIM.I BOUGHT NEW OUTER ROCKER PANELS FOR BOTH SIDES AND A NEW DRIVER'S SIDE FLOOR PAN TO DO THE REPAIRS, BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO COMPLETE THE TASK. I ALSO REMOVED, CLEANED, TREATED AND REMOUNTED THE GAS TANK AND THE POWER BRAKES WERE ALSO REBUILT. ALL OF THE GLASS IS IN GOOD SHAPE, BUTTHE DRIVER'S DOOR GLASS HAS BEEN BROKEN AND WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED. THERE IS RUST THROUGH OUT THE CAR, BUT IS ALL FIXABLE. THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES BEING EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FEES TO REMOVE, SHIPPING OR STORAGE OF THIS CAR AND PARTS.
