1949 Packard, was made as a 48 model but titled at the dealer as a 49 as was common back then. Car was fully repainted several years ago in original Packard colors, but two toned with Cordovan Maroon and Lowell Gray Metallic. Right off 1949 paint chart. Interior on the car was fully redone as well around the same time. Seats are in perfect shape and carpet as well. I have owned the car for 21 years. In that time, the motor was fully rebuilt, trans was fully rebuilt, brand new wiring harness throughout the whole car, new stainless exhaust. 2 years ago the gas tank was removed and restored with the RENU process. Which has a lifetime guarantee. All bumpers are off the car, they have been rechromed and are absolutely beautiful, but still in the plastic. The car runs, but will not keep running. Fuel has to be tickled into the carb, appears the fuel pump might need a rebuild? although has been several years ago, could be a reed valve needed in the pump, or add an electric pump and be done. We have a video of the car running we can send. The brakes will need some adjusting after sitting a couple years, but are all brand new as well. Car only has a few hundred miles after being rebuilt. I have too many other vehicles and have realized I will not be able to finish them all. Has a brand new 3EH -6 volt battery. CAll 574-952-8933 with any questions.
