This is a slightly modified 1952 Packard Mayfair (250). It has a 1956 Packard engine, 374 c.i. which was originally in a 1956 Packard 400. I had the transmission replaced with a GM TH700R4 automatic, since I had trouble with the Twin Ultramatic. The rear fenders have been replaced with senior Packard tail lights. I have a new gas tank in the car, and have recently had the brakes redone. the tires are about two years old and were replaced with Coker classic radials. I had the AC unit (Heritage) converted to R-134 and it works great. The overdrive automatic makes this a real highway car. Why am I selling it? I am in my seventies and the car doesn't have power steering. I would like something smaller and newer. I have had the car for about 6 years and feel that I have it about as sorted out as it will get.
