Thank you for looking at our extremely rare 1930 Packard Series 7 Custom Eight! This car is screaming for a complete restoration! As a Series 740 ourresearch shows that this was a Custom Eight and we believe it is classified as a Roadster (412) and looks to be a very viable restoration project. The body and frame look solid with no obvious evidence of severe rust issues and many parts are present. Unfortunately, the trunk lid and rear seat are missing from the car, as well as the passenger back portion of the seat. We do have abrand new convertible top that would make for an excellent template! We also have the wheel locks for both sides of the car! Yes, this car was optioned with dual side mounts! Please take a look at the photos of the car and associated parts to see what we have and contact us with any questions regarding the car or included parts. Unfortunately, if you don't see it in the photos, we don't have it for the car.
The previous owner purchased the car from agentleman than owned the car for a very long time. He always planned to restore it but never got around to it. The same thinghappened the the gentleman that we acquired the car from. He's owned the car for over 12 years and has kept it in a climate controlled storage facility during his ownership. He now has too many cars inrestoration and decided to part with this one. His loss can be your adventure! We appreciate you looking at our listingand are excited to this car find a new home with someone that will put this amazing piece of American automobile history back on the road! Good luck in bidding!
