Packard Caribbean Coupe 1956 ONE OFF

Up for sale is my Packard Caribbean Coupe 1956 as a true ONE OFF, earing the paintcode "H" ( Adriatic blue metallic) as a single colour.

To my knowledge no other caribbean coupe was painted in a single colour.

The car needs restoration but has a lot of good Features.

Engine:

374 cui with 2x4 Barrel carburation and batwing aircleaner.( both pods are there, atwing is all complete.)

Shows 82000 miles, hich seems to be accurate.

I got the engine running with a service ( sparks,contacts,condensator etc.) and oilchange.

Good oilpressure with no noises which makes nervous.

Transmssion

I engaged the gears through the pushbuttons and all works, ut i did not try to drive it out.

Interior

the car has its first and very good interior in white,light blue and Brown ( code 292), s i like originals i would clean it and take good care of it and reinstall in the car.

allk complete with doorpanle, sidepaneels, ashboard,..only thing needs replace is the carpet.

Dashboard all complete and good.

Glass

all there with no cracks, ront and rear glass will be installed for Transport.

Side glass is at its place.

Chrome and trim

front and rear bumpers needs rechrome.

All trimparts either Chrome or stainless are there. Especially stainless is nice and straight.

All the special caribbean trim is there ( Antenna Chrom, ake inlets for Hood) etc.) this car is overcomplete.All interior trim is there and original, othing missing.

Body

the Body is nice and straight.

The frontfenders have been replaced with perfect used rustfree ones from another car.

The Areas over the frontlights and the lower parts of the Fenders are rustprooned..but this one not.

Floors are nice and straight, ockers and trunk as well.

Only rust is where the Roof hits the Body at the rear glass, ut this is minor and can be done in a short time.

There are some leftover from the original hypalon top...which was obviuosly blue..

At all this is a car which will be worth any effort, t will be the only caribbean coupe ( as only 263 were build), hich has that Special colour scheme..and can not be replaced.
