This truck started off as a 1928 REO Fire Truck. It has heavy duty suspension, ut rides great, ot too bouncy! I striped it to the frame and restored it. The mechanical drum brakes are relined and each piece was cleaned and painted. Hand brake works as well. Original steering wheel. I cut the frame and shortened it about 2' as I thought it was too long for this new look. The wood spoke wheels (striped and refinished) are in great shape and so are the tires. This truck will get up and go, ave to be careful not to out run the brakes as theses trucks were made with rear brakes only. I went to the gas station and it hithi- way speed with no issues what so ever. No speed odometer is hooked up as the old REO one was frozen with 1200 miles on it. Fuel gauge works, ustom made gas tank fits under the rear nicely. Truck was just painted.
