BEST OFFER GETS THIS BEE !!!!!
Here is a full ground up restoration real super bee. Super nice driver but not perfect but really nice.
REAL DEAL WM23 BEE! NOTICE: the photo of the fender tag was taken prior to restoration. And, the vin tag on dash board was accidentally sprayed all black and the Chrysler Logo was covered up. I think a little mineral spirits would get the logo back. Plus, I forgot to do it before the windshield went back in the car after interior headliner was in. My mistake.
This was a solid solid car from the start. Only minor patch issues. I had the front driver and passenger floor board about 24 inches forward from in front of the beginning of the seat to the area near the pedals because of some cancer spots. Ripped and patched her up. Came out real nice.
REAR CROSS MEMBER WAS IN PERFECT CONDITION. MOPAR GUYS KNOW THAT THIS IS IMPORTANT. LOOK AT PHOTO.
This car's panels are spot on! Doors, trunk and hood are aligned perfect.
No bondo job here ! Fit and finish is real nice!
No car is perfect. No matter how much money you spend there will always be a flaw. Here, my car is not a perfect car but it's super nice and a real BEE.
Car was actually owned by an elderly women and she drove the BEE up until 1986. I bought the car 3 years go from her nephew who parked the car in his garage and really did not do anything.
The one of the stupid things the nephew did back in 1995 was get rid of the original 383 motor and he put a worked 1972 400 motor in the bee. Turns out, the 400 had a cracked block and he let the car sit after finding out.THE ORIGINAL 61,000 mile BEE has sat since 1987 in a garage until I started to restore the Bee as mentioned above.
All original sheet metal, glass and dash.
No tic tock clock.
Almost all the stainless is original except a few pieces purchased from other mopar guys because some might have been missing or misplaced during restoration.
Oh Yes, another stupid thing the nephew did was, he used some kind of fibre glass filler to preserve the trunk floor. Why, I have no idea, But I can tell you this the trunk extenders are perfect and there is one tiny spot the size of a dime at best, and you can see daylight near the left wheel well. If I did not mention this 90 % of the people looking at cars out there would have no clue it even existed.
The front windshield right side pillar chrome sits just a hair off and could use some tweaking. But it's not earth shattering.THIS BEE NEEDS TO BE FINISHED OFF. ie... gas tank, brakes need to be gone through, forward wire harness is original and out of car but I'd buy a new one, exhaust system needs to be purchased, as does; carb and the linkage, distributor, wires and cap, master cylinder, brake and fuel lines as will radiator hoses.
Probably a few other things but nothing major.
Car is almost done, but, I have no time to do it and I basically lost interest.
The 440 motor came out of a 1969 Road Runner (May 1969), and was fully rebuilt with a nice thumpr cam (mild) installed 10:1 compression, pump gas and has a Weiand Manifold. Exhaust manifolds were blasted and painted up to with stand the heat. I have entire engine specs upon request.
Transmission was fully rebuilt by a 40 year plus Mopar tranny specialist, and the tranny has a Hemi Converter with a 2800 stall, and a drop down gear option from 3rd to 2nd .
Transmission is originally out of this BEE, and needs to be installed. It's all painted and ready to go.
3.23 Sure Grip.
BRAND NEW Old School Center Line Rims.
Tires are brand new 245/60/15 Front 295/50/15 Rear.
Brand New Entire Interior from top to bottom. Interior Floors were painted body color. As was the roof of the interior but that was painted black.
Exterior color is: EV2 Hemi Orange.
BEE has the really cool N96 Air Grabber fresh air box.
Might consider a Harley for partial payment. Please, save yourself the time, no junk and only super low mile bike or bikes.
I would also except one Bitcoin too as a possibility.
I have an excellent Ebay feed back Score, and I am not going to listen to the song and dancers.
Either you have the means to buy the car and finish her off or you do not.
Not going to give the bee away. A fair deal last a lot longer and it builds relationships because you never know when paths might cross again.
PAYMENT IN FULL PRIOR TO PICKUP .
NO PAYPAL MONEY AT ALL except $100.00 deposit
