Selling this 1986 TVR 280i. The TVR is a British company that produces around 500 cars per year. In 1986, this car was #307 in the production line and only 36,000 original miles. It has a 2.8 liter V6 Ford motor and a 4-speed transmission. It has a Mustang II front end and a Jaguar rear end with 4-wheel disc brakes. I installed a new water pump that I picked up at my local auto parts store, so parts are easy to find. This car has a tube chassis and a fiberglass body, so it only weighs 2,360 lbs. It is very fast and drives great. It resembles a Ferrari.The original paint and body are in super great shape, as you can see from the pics. The tires are 90%. The leather and real wood interior are original and in excellent condition. It has a 6-disk CD changer located in the trunk. Everything works as it should.
This TVR is a pretty rare original 34 year old car that looks and drives like new. I don’t think you would be disappointed.
