. Bought this rare FC with the intention of restoring it with my son. We got the engine running in 2016 and replaced the wheel bearings and front brakes. Never got to the rear brakes, but the parts are in the bed. Also in the bed are the original seats as well as new replacement vinyl seats. Its a great candidate as it is relatively rust-free. There is some rust-through in the footwells, but there is not rust-through on the frame or body. I have taken pictures of the damage to the vehicle as best as possible. On the roof, there is a dent over the drivers side that was filled with caulk. The dent could just get pulled or properly filled. The driver's door front edge is crinkled and the previous owner cut a hole to access the latch. There is a plasma cut access hole at the front edge of the bed to access the transmission. Both rear fenders are in the bed and are both good. One fender has a tear in it (shown) that can be welded and smoothed. a dent in the other fender that will be easy to fix. The visors and passenger door trim are shot (shown) but are still there to template off of. Driver's door handle is in the cab. You can still make out the 4 Wheel Drive stencil on the rear hatch. As far as I can tell, this truck has always been in Colorado. Mileage reads 75,841 and appears correct. I have a State of Colorado title from 1970 that will go with the purchase. But this vehicle is sold on a Bill of Sale only. It was sold in 1970 from someone in Aurora, CO to someone in Wheatridge and I bought it from them. This is the most sound FC I have seen with a great foundation and simple history in a dry climate. Paint appears totally original in white with red base and I can't see any signs that it would have been a different color on had any paintwork at all. Have not started it since 2016 and will need to be rolled out. Stored in my warehouse since 2016.
