These cars were simply. quaint and not all that popular when they first dubuted. However you were good on fuel consumption and city driving due to the small engine and the overall small size of the vehicle. 1948 was the first year for the station wagon! The engine purrs right along -- all 44 cubic inches of it. Top speed is around 60-65 mph. alghough the speedometer shows an ambitious 70-75 mph. The odometer reads 29. 41. but is exempt due to the age of the vehicle. Manual shift transmission. Obviously. the paint is not original to the car. but you can see it coming down the road! Interior is pretty flawless and very clean. I've owned this car for about 5 months. and it always gets a lot of stares when I drive through town. and when I stop. people are drawn to it because they want to know what it is. It is cute. but it is time for it to find a new home. as I have other goals in mind. Here's your chance to own a real piece of American history - these cars were made right here in the USA. This is a great previously owned vehicle. The engine on this vehicle is running properly. This vehicle has no known defects. Overall. this vehicle's exterior is clean. The interior is clean and in good condition. This car has a clear Tennessee title and it is in hand. The history of this Crosley as far I know is that it came from Friendship. Tennessee (as seen on the title). then transferred to a dealer in Hot Springs. Arkansas. before we purchased it from there.
