Quick Summary:Up for sale is my 1962 Sunbeam Alpine. It's a straight car with no prior external body work that I've found. It was originally from California. There is minor rust in the floor and doors. but nothing that requires a full panel replacement. While the car does need to be restored. its not a bad car to start with. It does have a clear TX title. I feel the photos accurately describe the car. I have taken pictures of the worst parts of the car. they're not all beauty shots. If you have ANY questions. don't hesitate to contact me. More Details:Body: The door skins have some bubbling under the paint a couple inches up from the bottom. Hood and trunk lid have no rust through. The rear driver side quarter has a small spot of rust behind the wheel. The trunk floor is nice with no holes that I can see. same for the inner fender wheels. The rockers and door sills are very nice with no rust through. The floor boards have very minor rust through in isolated areas (pictured). The battery box is the worst part on the car. It will need to be patched. The paint is very old and has cracked. It will obviously need a paint job. Engine: Last ran three years ago. Has clean oil. When I bought the car. it had was parked due to an electrical short to the starter. I never got around to working on the car (I have many projects going on) so I didn't investigate further. I pulled the plugs out and noticed some condensation on the #1 plug (pictured). As a preventative measure. I soaked all the cylinders with penetrating spray. I'm not sure if its necessary. but I was going to pull the head to investigate further and clean the cylinders. I would recommend this as well. I don't believe the engine is shot however. It was a well taken care of daily driver when I got it. Could also be that the starter is jammed. Feel free to assume the worst. Transmission: The previous owner had it rebuilt years ago and claimed that it has less than 1000 miles on it. It is a 4 synchro transmission. It shifts through the gears very smoothly. Clutch: Fluid is clean and pedal holds pressure. Clutch engages and disengages fine. Brakes: Fluid is clean and pedal pumps up. They will need to be bled. Emergency brake works fine. Axle: Was working fine when parked. I'm confident there is no problems with it. Electrical: Was parked due to short to starter issues. Aside from that. everything else was working when the car was parked. Terms and Conditions:I have no problem working with overseas buyers. I have sold cars overseas before. and it has always been a pleasant experience. Payment: A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of purchasing the car. I'm willing to accept Cash. PayPal. Cashiers Check. Wire Transfer. Postal Money Order or Personal Check. The car and title will not leave my possession until funds have cleared. Shipping: It is important that you tell your shipping company this car does not run. Some companies will not ship a vehicle if it doesn't run. I'm able to assist with loading the vehicle if their truck does not have a winch.
