MotoeXotica Classic Cars is proud to present this 1934 Pierce-Arrow Club Sedan Restomod. It features a professional ground-up restoration by Don Sherwin of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The steel body was chopped approximately 4 inches all around which was monumental task by itself. It is seamless and looks fantastic. All work was methodically done to a show winning finish!
Finished in tan over charcoal with a gray horizontal strip at the beltline, the restomod’s paint and trim are in overall great condition, as is its rubberized roof. The tinted glass is clear and intact while the lights are in overall satisfactory order. This car has headlights, foglights and cowl lights in front, along with dual horns. All of the lights are in satisfactory shape. The fuel gauge is inoperative. The car’s bodywork is straight and solid but there is a crack in the front right lower fender upon close inspection. The car also has dual side-mounted spare tires within painted hard cases, its bumpers are in decent shape, its battery looks good and its engine bay is quite tidy. The car rolls down the road like a newer car and gets thumbs up from all!
This Pierce rolls on Firestone FR721 whitewalls, size 235/75R15 at all four corners. This awesome steed has six new slotted wheels that give it an awesome look and stance.
Under the hood, which is electro-hydraulically controlled, is an understood Chevrolet 502 CID V-8 big-block marine engine. Backing it up is a Turbo Hydramatic 400 three-speed automatic transmission with a floor-mounted shifter bolted to a Ford nine-inch rear end. The car features independent front suspension with a solid rear axle. Driver convenience features include vintage air-conditioning, power brakes with discs up front, cruise control and power windows.
Inside, the custom interior is in overall superior shape. The burgundy front and rear bench seats look fantastic as does the contrasting tan carpeting. A wide, metal bar on the back of the front seat allowed rear seat passengers to store their coats and other winter accessories during the ride. The headliner is in likewise excellent order. A three-spoke aftermarket steering wheel with a wood rim faces the driver and looks great. The black instrument panel is glossy and very stylish. The inner door panels continue the general theme set by the rest of the interior. Overhead, between the driver and front passenger, is a custom console housing the AM/FM stereo with CD and DVD player and shift quadrant telltale lights.
