1841 Chevrolet Coupe Gasser. This car was built in California in 1969-1970. It has a large folder of receipts for parts and labor from 69-70. It is very much unchanged since then. It has a 312 Mercury Y Block with dual quads, lumpy cam that makes for a very tough sounding idle, homemade headers, T10 4 Speed, 9 inch Ford rear end and an econoline straight axle, It is mostly if not all original paint with a light coat of old grey primer in some places. It has a few bumps and bruises, but no rust. It spent its life in California up until a few years ago and it shows. This car has the patina that people try so hard to copy, but real patina can't be faked. It has recently had the brakes gone through, carbs rebuilt, new distributer, new drag slicks and radials up front on old Fenton mag wheels. This is a very unique awesome piece of racing history that is the star of any show it attends. It is a blast to drive. I am not excited about parting with it but need the room.
