I am the 2nd owner (owned it for 30 years now). I bought it in 1988 with 73,000 miles. It's been professionally painted once. Never wrecked, lifted or had big tires (I have the original steel wheels) and very seldom off road. I do still drive it when I need a truck. 2 year safety inspected 3 months ago. I've kept up with the maintenance (oil changes, greasing hubs and driveshafts, etc.). Runs, shifts and drives well, AC works, 4 wheel drive with locked hubs works well.I had the transmission rebuilt with new clutch at 107,000 miles, new master cylinder, clutch cylinder, brake cylinders, various exhaust and catalytic convertor replaced, tires have good tread, shocks have been replaced a couple of times, etc. (after 30 years I could probably go on for a while). Various rust issues have mostly been repaired as they came. Minor body rust on the bed is beginning again. It has a few issues that I'm getting too old to fix (the reason I'm selling it): - Front brake discs are badly warped (shakes bad when braking) - Alternator bearing is starting to squeal (stops after a few seconds after starting engine) - Minor rust is starting againI've gotten too old and I'm not really taking care of this truck like it should be, so I'm selling it. This truck is also selling locally, so I reserve the right to cancel all bids if I sell it from home.
