WELL KNOWN PATINA VWWITH AN AWESOME HISTORY!MUST SEE!!
Selling this vw is not something I do easily but a chance to own another vw I want has presented itself so this one has to go. The car has an awesome history and cool build with lots of custom work. Here is what it has to offer:
The car runs and drives great. Starts right up every time. Even the turn signals cancel on their own. The original registration where the car last was on the road a the time of the volcano eruption is still in the glove box!!! The only rust I have found on the car is a small spot in the front apron tire well and on the driver side quarter panel that looks like an old repair at sometime in its life. All of which just matches the patina of the car and is of no concern to me. The large 17” tires will rub turning a tight radius. If you prefer not to have them I can replace them with stock smoothies and new tires.
This is one of those cars that doesn't come up often, especially with all of the VW LooseNuts custom work.Don’t wait and miss out! Buy it Now!
The car is sold AS IS. You are welcome to check it out in person, or have someone look for you, PRIOR to bidding as your opinion could vary.
Selling this vw is not something I do easily but a chance to own another vw I want has presented itself so this one has to go. The car has an awesome history and cool build with lots of custom work. Here is what it has to offer:
- The build was by Jeremy Brooks of VW Loosenuts and the interior was completed once I got it.
- Car is a 1962 vw bug with original 77*** miles on the car.
- Car sat in a field since 1980/81 when the eruption of MT Saint Helens took out the original motor. Left with the original key still in the ignition.
- Original paint has been color sanded and polish to a high gloss. (Not clearcoated)
- New original style seat cover installed purchased from Wolfsburg West
- Electric wiring was perfect with everything working aside from the wiper motor. I think the switch is bad
- Converted to 12v with new alternator
- Narrowed adjustable beam
- Drop spindles
- Custom made lengthened beam arms from the one and only Cage66 Fabrication (this pushed the wheels back to center of wheel arch and away from the headlight buckets)
- All new brakes and wheels cylinders. Soft lines, rebuilt original master cylinder
- Rear has VW LooseNuts extended / notched spring plates.
- Wheels are new 17” Speed master wheels.
- Motor is a stock rebuilt 40hp SP with VW LooseNuts set of custom dual intakes with Wolfsburg West Okrasa dual 32 carbs. Modified CSP linkage. Painted and detailed.
- It has VW LooseNuts full set of Chrome safaris Front and Rear and side popouts with type 2 long spoon latches.
- Custom VW LooseNuts emblem on the hood in the factory location
- Side body Trim has been replace with new Wolfsburg West stainless Steel trim
- Aussie Flash Trim from Recardo in Argentina.
- New Wolfsburg West German running boards
- All new lights all around including dash and dome light which all work
- Original glove box still in the car and in good shape
