This RED 1924 Maxwell is a real showstopper. The car is in very good condition and runs well. The engine is a 4 cyl. with a 3 speed stick shift on the floor. The white wall tires have a good tread life. One tail light lens has a crack. There is a slightly worn spot in the paint on the hinged portion of the front drivers door. The wood frame top operates manually and has no issues. The canvas portion of the top has no rips or tears. The steering wheel is wood and probably original and in excellent condition. The wood floors are also in great condition. You may start the engine with the hand crank ( crank is removable ) or the electric key start. The front windows open like louvre windows. I am not sure if the mileage is original. I have driven it very minimally in the past 10 years. The seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears. New 6 volt battery. An aftermarket toggle switch was added to the instrument panel for the fuel pump. This car was manufactured during the Walter Chrysler era and the Model 25-C was produced from 1913 until 1924. This car will get alot of attention whether on the Road. in the Parade or at the Shows. Deposit of $500. 00 to be paid within 48 hours of Auction close and the Balance with 14 days.
