Car description |
---|
This is a 1974 Jensen Interceptor. Factory Mopar 440 cubic inch engine. English luxury with American power and reliability and cost. These rare cars are similar in class, luxury, and performance to the Jaguar XKE or XJS models and Porsche 928 along with even more exotic machinery such as the Ferrari 400, Maserati Indy and others. Most enthusiasts consider the Jensen Interceptor a car that will continue to increase in both desirability and value.
I have a number of cars and can only restore so many so it is time to thin the herd. This car is complete. It has been sitting for a few years. All mechanical components are there but I have not run the car. Perhaps it could run but I imagine that if one was to restore the car fully then the engine would also get rebuilt. This car has some rust. Most body panels themselves are in good condition but the roof, hood, and the floorboards will need repair. All glass is good, lights, trim, etc is present. Open the door and a beautiful period Nardi steering wheel awaits. Again, everything in the interior is complete but will require restoration.
This car comes with a current Georgia registration. Georgia is not a required title state for this year car BUT this acts as a title and is transferable to other states that require titles AND is good for the required paperwork for export. If any out of country bidders are interested, I could put them in touch with some recommended shippers.
Please email for any questions. I can send a link with even more photos if desired. I will be happy to give a buy it now price to anyone interested. The reserve is set to what I think is a very low price and I anticipate that the car will sell.
