Car description |
---|
Up for your consideration is a rare a beautiful 1928 Essex Super 6 coupe street rod, built by Ken Fenical of Posie’s in Hummelstown PA. This is one of Ken’s first creations and he designed and built every aspect of this car.
Owner set Ken to task in 1983 to turn this unusual rust free and all STEEL classic into a true top quality street rod which has only been driven 1600 miles since it was completed in 1984.
The 30+ year old lacquer paint is in excellent condition, with no cracks, ‘crow’s feet’, or discoloration. There are a few minor stone chips, but no rust or paint issues.
There are many custom, one-off modifications made to this car which include; remote rumble seat, remote cowl vent, power windows (including the rear), power antenna, and more. The Essex has A/C, tilt wheel, and Posies patented Super Slide rear spring system. Everywhere you look on this car there is another added feature, including the (2) 15-gallon gas tanks mounted on the original frame rails.
Listed below are the details and specifications. Owner is selling for personal reasons.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 13 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 5 years ago I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all of the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car. They just want someone to sell it!!
