52 Allard K2 Roadster, mint restored example

Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1951 Allard K2 (titled '52) in Green with Dark Green leather. Cadillac V8 powered with 4 speed manual transmission. Restored quite recently to a high standard. Wonderful panel fit and great attention to detail. Fantastic detailed underside. Comes with some paperwork including the original sales invoice to a soldier in the US Army in Germany for export to the US. The invoice also shows that the Cadillac power bulge in the hood is original equipment. Has its soft top frame. header rail. rechromed hardware but no soft top. also no side curtains. Presently shod with crossplys - I would put Radials on for a more predictable driving experience. I would also undo some of the underhood modernizations. mainly the large radiator hose and the fuel pressure gauge - both simple items. This is a wonderful car restored to a higher level than is commercially viable making this incredibly good value in my humble opinion. Inspections encouraged. All sales AS-IS.
