1939 Hudson 2 door sedan. 36. 00 original miles. runs and drives great. Drove it this summer for a couple Sunday drives to get ice cream. Starts easily. purs like a kitten. Tires have some drive cracks but hold air. Probably want to replace for road trip. Spare tire and jack plus engine crank are in the trunk. Front rubber mat is in pretty decent shape but does have some cracks in it. Rear carpet was dry rotted so it was thrown away. Car had an old lacquer paint job many years ago by the original owner's request. No evidence of any body work - super solid. All glass is in good shape; all 4 windows roll up and down. The original owner (97 year old fellow) did the ole gas not brake trick and jumped the bumper of a parked car. also tested the barn door with the front passenger fender; both side grills were broken - driver's side is all there but cracked and passenger side is missing. Original upholstery. wool has a few holes but is very presentable to just drive or restore. Everything is there to the car. just needs some restoration to be perfect. NO body rust issues. outside body is rock solid. front floor mat held some condensation and the floorboard has a few soft spots. but under the seat. the rear and trunk are rust free. Flat head 6. 3 speed on the tree. has a new coil. new master cylinder. wheel cylinders. and brake lines. stops very well. Grill was obviously out during some of the pix over the summer but the pic in the fall shows the grill back in it. Would love this time capsule be restored as I think it's a gem. Feel free to ask additional questions. I've sold several cars on Ebay and have 100% positive feedback.
