This Superwasp is ready to go. As you can see from the pictures, this car is shiny, but has some flaws in the body and finish, none too bad and still presents itself well. I haven't had this car too long and haven't been able to take it on my usual 2-300 mile trip because of weather conditions this time of year in Indiana. I have driven it about 25 miles in a couple of short trips and believe there will be no reason it won't perform well. The engine runs very good, doesn't smoke or leak oil. I have installed a new clutch disc, throw-out bearing, pressure plate, gasket and fluid, new trans.moun, new motor mounts and new center driveshaft supports. I replaced the broken exhaust manifold and installed a new manifold gasket, all in nice working order now. It has new rad.hoses, and re-cored radiator as described, the heater works well ! I installed a new WRP door & trunk weatherstrip kit. The tires are new, blackwall 215/70 r15, with shiny full size hubcaps. It cruises real nice without vibrations and looseness in the steering wheel. It shifts smooth thru the gears as well. The fuel system has a new double action fuel pump, with a correct fuel hose to pump, a fresh rebuilt 2bbl. carb, and a freshly restored fuel tank and pick-up tube The brakes stop the car straight with no pulling or darting out of control, the emergency brake works well, and holds the car as it should. The drivers side frt. floor pan has been repaired, which is very commo, does work and can be used as it is for a long time. This is a good car, ready to go. It should provide a future of fun, without having to restore or do anything else to it. If you want to tinker with it to make it better, that would be optional and up to the new owner, but is ready to go AS IS, turn the key ! It would be hard to find any antique car of this vintage, any marque, ready to go for the BUY-IT-NOW or reserve price on this car !
