Car description |

This is a 100% complete 1947 Diamond T Model 201 with matching frame and engine numbers and a CLEAR TRANFERABLE Michigan title. The truck is completely dissassembled and ready for restoration. I have decided NOT to part thise vehicle out because it deserves better. All the numbers match and they should stay together. The engine and transmission are not torn down and the engine turns freely. It ran when I bought it in 2013. The gearshifter is locked in third gear, robably from rust. The bed has a new deck, ew deck supports and sections of rusted through side metal replaced with the proper gage steel. New rear fender mount lip has also been installed. The bed has an intact tailgate which is in very good shape.
The rolling chassis is intact with all springs, hocks (one is broken) mounts front end gear, spoke iron wheels and rear transaxle. The steering column is complete with its steering wheel and cab mounts. The rear fenders have already had rusted sections removed and new steel installed. The front fenders have also been repaired with new metal installed but they need minor work on the typical stress fracture at the mounting bracket. The cab has one support pillar replaced with a new section. The doors need bottom panels, he tool box is completely rebuilt. Interior front fenders are completely rebuilt. Headlights are restored and primed, ood and side panels are whole with new metal tacked in. Bumpers are in excellent condition, oth front and rear. It is missing one door glass and one front windshield section. All emblems and markers are in very good condition.
This is a prime candidate for someone to complete the full restoration. I hate to part with it but due to a medical condition I must sell.
