Very rare 1939 American Bantam Speedster. There were only 323 of this four passenger convertible model built in 1939 and 1940. Fewer than 20 are still registered with the various Bantam clubs. This car is very complete including the convertible top and side curtains. It sports a rust-free older body and interior restoration. The engine was completely rebuild in the summer and fall of 2015 and has only been driven on test runs since. It starts, uns, nd drives great. a 45 cubic inch side valve 4-cylinder engine making about 20 horsepower, antams are the original American economy car, true micro-car at nine feet long overall, 5 inch wheelbase, nd weighing about 1200 pounds.
