VERY NICE ORIGINAL UNRESTORED 1926PIERCE-ARROW TWO DOOR SERIES 80 AUTOMOBILE.I purchased this car15 years ago. The prior owner allowed water in the motor to freeze, which cracked the cylinderhead.Four years after purchasing the carIbought a newly manufactured aluminum cylinder head, nd head gasketat a cost of $3000. The car has been in indoor storage since then, and the head hasnot yet been installed. The previous owner said the carran and drove well prior to the head problem. Hehad just had the wheels repainted and new tires installed. There has been some amateur paint touch-up probably in the 1950s. The body is aluminum, nd hood, enders, nd running boards are steel. The body has only a few minor dings, nd slight surface rust in the areaswhere the paint is chipped or scratched.Interior is original wool broadcloth in good original condition with some wear and tear spots, nd water stains. (see pictures) The original oilcloth canvas covering on the roof exterior was ripped, o I removed it andneeds replaced. The car has always been stored inside and has no wood damage. The wood steering wheel andsimulated woodgrain dash are perfect. It has theoriginal roll-up blinds, ut I'm afraid to try them. I have new correct replacement aluminum running board covers that go with car. The motor turns over easily and all parts for the car are present except the clock. The driver's window will not roll up, nd the rear back-glass is cracked. You can call me anytime for more detailed information. This would make an easy restoration, r install the head and drive as a survivor and enjoy it.Great dry climate Colorado car.CALLRichard 303 795 8630
