Car description |
---|
Up for bid is this sharp, estored 1974 Jensen Interceptor. This car has gone through several stages of restoration throughout the years. Records from previous owners show that the engine has been rebuilt along with a new original interior. Since I have owned it, have gone through the entire car to make sure everything works from the air conditioner to refurbishing the Learjet radio. The only thing I did not get to is to install a country horn and have the clock restored. The chrome is in nearly show condition with no pitting, cratches or fading. The car is a good driver; Last summer I had it shipped to K&D Enterprises who specializes only in Jensen's. Doug and Keri Meyer restored a 1975 Jensen convertible for me several years back an I took 1st place with that car at most every Concourse I entered it into. They preformed over $5,600.00 of mechanical repairs to the car last summer. When Doug finished the car, drove it back from Washington to my home in California. The paint job is good, owever, here is some minor cracks in the paint and I spent over $!,700.00 in repainting the hood and I still see some paint deformities that would not pass well at a concourse. There is some minor rust around a wheel well and I have been told by my mechanic that there is some rust under the drivers seat brake peddle. That might be something to repair at sometime but is not at all visual. Here is a list of the work that I have done to the car since I have owned it.
