This 1969 AMC AMX is a great example of American ingenuity in the late 1960s. This car is very light and it is fast.Mechanically this car runs great, he engine runs smooth and does not smoke or knock. The Borg Warner T-10 4 Speed Transmission shifts smooth, oes not grind and does not pop out of any gears. It has a new clutch assembly that was recently installed. The engine also has a new Edelbrock carburetoron it. It is a 390 cubic inch engine. The engine has been rebuilt, alanced and blueprinted. The 46 year old black interior shows its age. Most of the sheet metal appears to be straight and for the most part rust free. There is a rust spot below the rear window, n the left side that is approximately 3 inches in diameter. We do not know if this paint is original or even if it is a factory color combination. The differential is a positraction rearend with a high gear in it, 'm guessing 3:08's or 3:31's because it winds out in high gear and will bury the speedometer, hich stops at 140 MPH. If you are really interested in owning this car, eep bidding until the reserve price has been met.
