1931 Dodge Brothers One and One Half Ton Series F Truck
Bike on flatbed not included in this sale!
This is an Extremely Rare Survivor Dodge Brothers Truck. The "Dodge Brothers" name was only displayed on the trucks for a few years after their car production ended. Chrysler then ended the use of the Dodge Brothers emblem. You will see photos of the Graham Brothers trucks but they have a narrow tall window behind the door window. This truck never had that window in it's cab. There is limited information on the internet on these Dodge Brothers trucks. I do have a owners book that goes with the truck and ithas good information of the parts and service. The truck runs and drives and stops good. I installed a carb kit, ebuilt fuel pump, plugs and wires. Sent the water pump to Spokane and had the original rebuilt. The engine is what is called the new and improved "Big Six" 6 cylinder. I also sent the clutch away and had it relined along with the flywheel and pressure plate resurfaced. Rebuilt the brake master cylinder along with the wheel brake cylinders. Needs new shoe linings.New original reproduction Rubber brake hoses at the wheels. The Original cast spoke wheels have new tires on them. One is mismatched tread by local tire dealer. The Radiator cap was stolen and I cant find the correct replacement. It's a unique oval shape. Good luck with that rare part. The Key is broke off in the ignition and I don't have another one. I just lift the floor board and disconnect the battery when not driving. Starts right up and drives like an 84 YEAR OLD TRUCK. Some of the original gauges work like oil and voltage. The speedo needs work. As for the mileage, believe it to be correct minus a few miles from not working. The overall condition of the truck also backs up the low mileage. The paint is gone but the sheet metal is inamazing condition. The glassfor the doors isnot installed but included. Missing the passenger door handle.Front bumper not on the truck but included. The wood on flatbed looks like it could be the original bed. The bolts are the old square type.
I took this truck to a couple local car shows and won first place with it. The condition it's in is what people want to see now days. People all day were taking their pictures with it. The older generation folks walk right past the other cars just to see what they remember growing up around back in the day.
I hope you buy it and enjoy it as much as I have in it's original condition as is.
Please ask questions if you have any before bidding or while bidding.
