1969 Cutlass "S" ConvertibleThe 1969 Cutlass "S" convertible is a very unique vehicle with Muscle Car looks and class. This vehicle is no exception and drives better than it looks. This car has extensive history and is a well documented 3 owner car. This vehicle was purchased new at Timmerman Motor Co. in Aiken, C but spent most of its early life around Hilton Head, C. The vehicle was brought to Greenville, C in 1999where it underwent restoration by the 3rd owner (nephew of the original owner). The restoration was completed in 2001. This car will come with the following documents; original ordering document, riginal 1969 warranty info sheet, riginal owners manual, riginal 1969 purchase document,miscellaneousreceipts from the restoration, nd a 1969 Cutlass/442 Assembly manual. In 1978 the original motor was replaced (due to engine failure) with aOldsmobile6.6 403cui. V8. This car was ordered with Air Conditioning and most of the original AC parts are still on the car, ut not set up on the current engine. This car is a excellent driver, nd I would nothesitate to drive this car anywhere. The Power-steering and Power-DISC-brakes work great. The power top works as it should and the radio works excellent. The original wheels were replaced with 14x7 Keystone Classics and the tires are ingood condition. Surprisingly when the car was restored there were no rust in the floor pans, owever, he lowerquarter panels had mild rust and were replaced. This car was painted a non-factory color (Tropic Green Metallic) but does flow well with the car. The paint is still presentable and shines well, ut does have somemiscellaneous minor scratches/imperfections from being used (but very presentable). The original bumpers were rechromed and are in great condition. During the restoration the black convertible top was replaced along with the pump, otor, ylinder, nd hoses. The interior upholstery was also replaced butthe original dash pad does have some small imperfections. This car is a excellent cruiser and turns heads.
